Day 3 Inspired

OK, so i decided to put a title on the "title" blank starting from today

Yes, so today, its "inspired" because we all went down to the LT. Our lecturers then showed us a few DVDs which they thought will help us.

The first one was behind the scenes thing from Lord of the Rings

They then asked us to compare the cinematography with some documentary on Mt.Everest

Obviously, the first one was better. From the interview camera angles to the lighting and background and movie clippings.

The second video was not as good as most of the shots were way too over exposed. Camera angles were also horrible as it distorted most of the peoples faces.

I thought the opening sequence was actually quite good. It started with a few text about what they were documenting, the sequence included a mountain whistling sort of noise that, I thought, captured the intensity of Mt.Everest

From the two DVDs then followed a chain of other tapes. Some memorable ones included (not in particular order) Monsters Inc, Iron Man and Shoot Em Up.
Seeing those DVDs really helped. We were all exposed to different kinds of introduction and credit line (if one is to make a movie like tape). I really liked the bloodtrail in the credit line from "Shoot Em Up".
Then, Wahidah showed us some DVD on some supirior guy during the war and stuff. But because of unbalanced ying n yang that affects my "chi" i coldnt control my bladder any longer and I went to the toilet. (Sorry Wahidah, that was the explanation from my "sing-se")

At 230pm when all the tapes were shown, we were released; and everyone scattered into the canteen racing to be the first to line up at the Western Food stall. (actually, it wasnt so drama, but OH well! I got my chicken chop 2nd you suckers! HAH!!)

Once our tummy was filled, me, Joel, Marge and Gary (UFO - unidentified f*****g object) went up to the 2D lab for further discussion. Natalya was unable to join us as she had class. Before she went, she told us she had a few ideas for intro and conclusion; and I told her to put them up on her blog and we shall read it from there.

In the computer lab, we carried out our meeting. Marge, Gary and I (see Sarah, I learn fast!! aha!!) felt sick in the stomach. Lyke, we needed to barf something out, might have been the food (we had the same thing); this was the reason why Marge and I could'nt concentrate at first. So, it started out a little slow but we managed to get somewhere.....in the end....after......a couple of minutes.. :) We figured that the wave current just went through me and Marge. Later, Joel sat directly in between us, and presto! it worked! Gary was (very silently) sitting by us.

During our brief discussion, we came up with a few thoughts. We had a lot of ideas here and there but realized that we had no main body. Whether it our tape was going to look like a documentary, or video, or ......reality tv...ya.
I came up with the reality tv idea, starting my thought with "survivor". I envisioned it like so:
Camera pans down through a myriad of our works and faces, basically showing our journey in a very super dooper quick manner.
I was hoping that my aundience would resopond like so:
(sees a work flashing through) "OO wat was tat?? (then, looks on longer for our explanation)
Joel then managed to carry it on from there, following my idea with the suggestion of .........
"do you wanna be on top (top) (top) (top)"....yes, the very hot and glamarous world of Americas Next Top Model (nanana..na..naaa..nanana..nana)

So, we settled on reality tv style. Still have yet to look at Natalya's ideas and we shall carry on with our discussion later in class :)
