Ok, so should have not read Marjy's last blog, such english and constructed sentences that I shall never be able to develope with ease, not to mention the many typos I make. Hah. I dont care. Anyway.
Yes, sadly, the year has ended (BOOOOO, I am wailing about how I dont want to be a second year student), I'm quite sure that if I let myself, I could cry my eyes out. I loved being a freshman, I dont ever want this to end. Maybe of the fact that I have not been in a school for ages (thanks to homeschooling and private exams) and I dont ever ever want to leave school, reflecting on how fast the year has passed scares me to the core, pretty soon I will be in the senior year, doing FYP, then to the working world NOOOOOOOOOOOO. Scientific ambitious time-travelling nerds should get their ass moving.
Being a second year student, I would get to know the freshman, and then, they will ask me questions...and I jfkdlsajdkl (spazm attack, sorry) Shit. I hate this, I hate last days of anything.... sob.....NOOOOOO.
Ok, reflect on the past few months. Well........ok, I shall begin my story at the beginning again. First task that we had to face was getting into groups, a lot of other people got into a desirable group, I shall be truthfull and say that mine was not very desirable, I shall not mention any names. I felt like I could not depend on a few of my group members, and it made me sick and sad. Especially during interim assesment when we could see the other group's progress, how they had each member doing a separate part of the video. For us, we ALL had to present during group meetings and shoots. When someone was editing, the other was not cappable to produce other things like animation or special effects. I have my limitations, but working in a group meant other people with other talents.......this fell short.
Anyway, we started of quite well but after post-editing we found that our first video was very messy. So we came up with a different idea. Yes, I must credit myself in starting this ball rolling. So, in the middle of the whole thing, we had to scrap our inttial video and reshoot. This time however, we were a lot more into it and I could tell that we were more positive and enthusiastic during production time. And we took time to plan this video so when it came to editig, it was quite easy.
So, it a real marathon, with bumps and scratches along the way. People fell out or got pushed out but eventually caught on again. We had our fights, wether as friends or groupmates. As I look back, it was a really enjoyable experience as a whole. I still think that I had an undesirable group but am happy with the work that we managed to produce. I met Alfie along the way today and he said that he was very pleasantly surprised with the work that everyone produced. Boo. I told him that that was a very political answer, but he went on to explain to me what he meant and that whatever he said was the truth, he did not expect our year 1 work to turn out like so. Yay. The freshmans should be scared. WOO
Love you all, and I am really happy to get to know everyone and work with you all. The few very special people along the way, you should know who you are (this line is so cliche) and I love you all. really, thanks for the memories and laughs. bye to this blog forever and see you all next year.

Day 14-2 "Gala Premiere"
Yes, hello friends, we are all invited to the MOI year 1 Gala Premiere. What a lovely day it was. I got up and wore my best dress (not really) and went to meet my friends. Joel was picking me up in a cab, and as usual, he took his own sweet time eating and picked me up at 12. We were supposed to be in school at....12. Marj called Joel and told him that marks would be deducted off a group if they are late. Shit. Ok, for the record, we were 10 minutes late. The lecturers should really keep to their word about deducting marks off because we had to wait a full 1 hours before the event. I was all seated and ready. Not to mention that I had not had my lunch.
Anyway, when it finally began, the group that borrowed 3 cameras the first week of school were still not there (jake, jy, andrea and angie I think). The event began with Sholleh's group. And it carried on. It was really cute to see "MOI News" they were all dressed up to their best and Raymond gave such a lovely intro. Another group went with the News-casting theme was "News6" I love their clip, it was really funny and original and creative, not to mention a cameo appearance by our dear Joel (it was hillarious). Best original screenplay, I thought, could have gone to Sarah's group if only they didnt end abruptly. The last group that presented was "Crewsade" .............ya, it was GOOD. They were in the same class as me so, over the past month I had seen their rough cut, and I must say that after post editing, it looked really really GOOD. Not to mention the special effects and everything. Damn.
So, the day finally came to an end and it was all hugs and goodbyes and we "celebrated" by going to my place for pizza!! Woo! It was homemade all from scratch. lovely. If your dying to try homebaked goodness fresh from the oven, ask me anytime if you can come ova!! Then we went to watch James and the Giant Peach. I LOVE it. anyone who hasnt seen it and want to take animation should really watch that movie. I love it. Then, before everyone left, there a bit of confusion (I love thesauraus.com, really helpfull when you cant get a particular word) with money issue, and us being the designers we are had to take about half and hour passing the receipts around to those who think they know better until finally settling the "bill" and change. Gosh.

Day 13-2 "Last day of editing"
Yes, so yesterday was the last day of editing. It had to be since we had to export it into a tape on Tuesday, today.
So, we went back to Marjy's place to finish up. There was a lot to be done, we even came up with a timeline for the days' errand. We had to do the subtitles, finish up the credit roll and put in the music...ya.
Doing subtitles took longer than expected. Next was getting that star background thingy. We coldnt just cut out that section on premier...well...we could but there was editing to be done in photoshop because as it fades out, we could still see Tomy Lee Jones face. Under any other circumstances, it would have been perfectly fine, hah, but for this, we cant. Thank God Gary was there with us yesterday, and he managed to move out that sequence as a frame by frame jpg file. yay. So, I went and erased out his face (so sorry love, I'm really alright with your face there) Once that was done, we had to compile our works. Mine I had done the day before actually.
After that was finding a song for the ending. I wanted an orchestra-ic song, you know, the whole strings assamble and all. This took some time because the first few we found on the net were so dark or gloomy or sad. Anyway, we finally found it from the "Jurrasic Park theme" song...ironic.
Yay!!! We finnally got everything done like, an hour before midnight. So tired. Gosh. Poor Marjy's phone was bombarded with like sms-es the whole day from our last groupmate. I was pissed with her too. She told us that she emailed Wahidah the time we would be going to school......ok, 1. she doesnt even know what time we can meet; 2. she doesnt even know if we have finished the video; 3. she doesnt even know where we are at the moment. Lyke, toot off already, you were never helpfull in the first place and you want to attempt to start now?? And emailing Wahidah so did not help. Ok ya.

Saturday
We met up in school quite early, for once, I was the one who came late, so sorry guys. They were so sweet to have brought me these two perfectly scrumptuous tarts...or whatever they called it. It was lovely.
We finally got around to start editing our video in the labs. Unfortunatelly, we discovered that the Premiere version in Marjy's computer was different from those in school and it wouldnt be able to open. So, we had to make our way to Marjy's house.
We went to edit our video. We managed to accomplish a few things. And we made a very very interesting discovery!! We couldnt cut the sequences anymore..so...we fast-forwarded some sequences, mostly Natalya's, as I said, she speaks with a full.stop.at.every.word, so it sounded absolutely normal once we fast-forwarded the tape. Yay. This saved a lot of time really. We also fast-forwarded some of the pauses that each of us included in our sequences.
We also managed to agree on a better credit roll, thanks to Marge and Joel. We were really going to do it "Oscars" style. You know that star background thing that they have in between nominees; we are going to get that transition for each of us.
You know the screen when they show like, the nominees in one shot, yes, where you can see everybody's exasperated expectant faces while they wait for the winner; we will have that as each persons background when we showcase our works. I really dont think I'm making much sense, Anyway! it will all be understood when people watch it on Wednesday.

Friday
On Friday, we went to see Wahidah. Actually, Wahidah wanted to see us, our progress and all the shots that we had to retake. It was another rainy morning that we had to drag ourselves out of :( but I took a new umbrella that wasn't spoilt. Later, we compared umbrellas, we also came to a realization how rapidly people change their minds about what's hot and what's not - About 6 months ago, people refuse to carry those non-foldable umbrellas, now, that was the most fashionable accessory on a rainy day...actually, it doesn't have to be a rainy day..ya; Joel had the tallest umbrella, followed by mine then Marjy's. (I still don't know where all these ( ' apostrophes) are supposed to go. Wuteva.
Wahidah seemed pretty okay with what we had. She did stress on the point that we had to cut our video time back to meet the required time-span.....this left us quite dumb-founded as we had done all the necessary cuts, if we were to cut out even more parts, we would have a really jumpy non-imformative video. Anyway, we decided that we would have to try again and edit the video the following day, Saturday.
Marge had to go to class and Joel and I (Natalya was in the room too, but she had her mac on) went on to watch "Notes on a Scandal". Oh dear, the english they use just astounds me. And it was a very disturbing movie to watch. One line that Judy Dench mentioned in the movie that Joel and I could not possibly get over with was "that was the end of her prebulescent paramour"........like....wtf. I love it.

Day 12-2
Woke up to a stormy weather perfect for sleeping in. Darn it. So, we all met up late because everyone was stuck at home and if we were to brave the rains, someones pants or shoes or bag or back would get really really wet...I wasnt going to be a victim of something I can prevent.
Anyway, we reached school finally. And I realized that I had a broken umbrella :( Anyway, the reason why we had to cogregate in school was to shoot our outro. So, we got Andreas to help us be a cameraman as this shot needed the whole groups' faces. It got off with a rough start because we debated on how a near-perfect shot woud be and how Andreas was supposed to move with the camera....etc...anyway, we got the shot that we wanted and went off to lunch and editing.

Day 11-2 "Never piss the bouncer yo"
Ok, corny tag line. anyway. Yes, I have yet again procrastinated really badly.
So, by reading Marjy's punctual blog, I have recalled that on this day, there was the Diploma Show and I, along with a few other people, volunteered ourselves as ushers. Later in the day, we found out that our positions were more of bouncers (as Mr.Ronald called it) than ushers. I wore heels that day, hence Margy's sentence "Kezzy was tall today"
Note: if in the event of wearing heels, MUST take flipflops or any form of flat shoes in case of agonizing pain.
And according to my blog title, parents are sooo anoying and the Singaporean culture makes them believe that when anything that doesnt subject to their liking allows them to complain to higher authorities. Well tough luck paranoia imbuned minds, youre not allowed in and I cannot do anything about it.
So, today, before the Diploma show, we went to reshoot 2D Art since our video was too long and cutting the previous shot would result in really awful jump cuts.

Day 10-2 "Interim 2"
Ok, yup, so today was interim. Before we presented, Marge told me that she had to cut out our thank you speeches and changed it with something else. She also told me that we would have to reshoot 3D since our video exceeded the time limit. She also noted that we have not shot our closing sequence.
So, once again, we had to see the other groups progress..........I shall not say anything about them. But I was really impressed with one group's work, Snap.
Before we showed our video, I briefly told the class that we have changed our concept and format as the other one totally sucked. I also told them that we wanted ours very traditional, it was all camera footages and we did not have all those swanky ass effects like the other groups. Very happy that Wahidah got this and commented ours as "classy" YAY!!!
A very very very BIG HUGE thanks to Marge who stayed up and put the final touches on our video. Thanks alot love.

Day 9-2
So, on Monday, yesterday, Joel, Gary and I went to Marge's place. All of the footages were in her computer and we had to choose the respective audios for the various sequences.
This took some time. I had violent objections for the Intro song, if anyone thinks so too, just to let you know that I was againts it.
Yup, that was all we did yesterday.

Friday "and the oscars still goes to ...... meee!!"
Ok, we went back to school on Friday to shoot our credit roll. We decided to have each of us say a thank you speech on receiving our Oscar then, in post editing, we would put in our achievements.
Me - Best director, Best original screenplay, Best animated feature (for "stolen"), Make up and Art Direction
Marge - Best Cinematographer, Best sound editing, Best original score/song and Set Design (for "when a stranger talks")
Joel - Best dressed, Best actor, Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Costume design (for "Kezzy's oscar speech dress take 1")
Finally, for Natalya - Best Documentary Short (for "An Inconvenient Truth")
I wanted to put Best Foreign Language for Natalya also...but, we decided not to in the end.

Day 8-2
So, I have yet again procrastinated. I still dont get this blogging things. gosh.
Ok, anyway, on Thursday I was early, as usual, and we went up to the studio. We were going to shoot for 2D Art Fundamentals. Ok, ya. So, Marge found this magazine and I just drew the back cover of this lady with different mediums. Oil pastel, soft pastels and watercolor. Joel and I later talked about our 1m x 1m painting. Once we finished that, we went to the ESpace in hopes of shooting for 3D, however, our plan was to pan around the room and the morning sun casted its rays in to the windows and in camera, this just came out as overexposure even though the windows were tinted.
Nothing we can do about that, so we went for lunch. Marge then went to class. I dont understand why Natalya has to ask the same question over and over and over again. She asked Marge the same question thrice, asked Joel that same question twice and asked me the exact same question three times again. Like wtf. Ok, she asked "um..are.we.going.to.shoot.today...?" the answer was an outright yes. For goodness sake, she was there when we said that the video would be overexposed, hence, we had to wait for the evening to shoot and Marge had class so we were waiting for that too since the shoot required her presence.
Anyway, I had DOC meeting so the rest went to shoot. Thanks guys.

Day 7-2 Did not do anything
Yes, we did not do anything. And I am still sad but I have no idea why. And I have no idea why I am thinking of this person I am thinking of. Yes, I will still not tell you who.
Kay.
Kay.
Day 6-2 Mix of Alcohol with corked up tears and all I could think about was you
Right, so, on Tuesday, Natalya was sick so we told her to stay in. We again had a subway feast.
We didnt really have a lot left to do, so we decided to redo Marge's scene. We went to Boat Quay once again. There were a lot of complications at first. Especially with all the noise and the sky. It was a cloudless white piece of blank, hence overexposeur. yup. We tried different angles, locations and stuff, so we finally settled on by the river.
When we finished our shoot, some mediacorp people came and took the same exact location we shot at. The girl was walking so stifly, gosh. Ahah. And they came with all their fancy equiptment and reflectors and mike and tracks......well......Marge reminded me that 'Once' was shot with just 2 handy-cams. Hah. Yup
Then, we went for dinner and I spent 12 bucks on a hot dog. Damn, cheated me. Then we went to drink and I stayed sober...and sad...about somebody. No names. Hah

Day 5-2
Monday, I got a sneak preview of what Joel had to do for the other group, the one with Andrea Lek, Dion and etc. It was DAMN funny!! ahaaha. ok ya.
Then, that was also when we found out that Natalya might be suffering from Dengue Fever for she asked me what the symptoms were. I didnt really know.
Anyway, we managed to shoot our Intro and she then went home to rest. Before that though, we met up with Wahidah and she saw the various other shoots. She seemed to like the shoot better than the last one. But she did point out that the location Marge was in was a bit weird.
Yes, and the oscars still goes to me!! we were bringing him around school when we were looking for a location and people thought it was a real one...as in...we bought it from a store.
Anyway, we went to Margies place to watch Atonement. I loov the English accentt. I shall right now tolk lyke them. Ryght, so we wentt a yonder, excercysing along thee way (we walked forth all the way to her place). My take on the moovie...disterrbing, but I simpely adore Keira Knightly. Ryght, herr father then preparred a scrumpttuous dinna fo all of us. It was very nice indeed. And he actually remembered my simple requestt thhat I did not fancy spicy hott fuood indeed. Yes. Very thoughtfull. Then, we watched something more lighthearted, Forrest Gump. I shall now change my accent to suit the southern twang.
Weal, Mumuh sayed, that life wass lyyyke ae box of choclats..yoo nevar know wuut yo gonna gett. ahahahaha. Eet wass chyiledhood nastalgyia, Iee remembered whan Iee saww eet as a chyield. yep, with muay pap.

Saturday
On Saturday, Marge, Joel and I met up in school. Why wasnt Natalya there?? Cuz...she would have been redundant as the sequences we would be shooting did not require her; and if we had asked her to come, we would be wasting her time.
Shooting on Saturday was quite good. Met a few groups along the way. First, we went to shoot Joel's sequence. We went to the TV Studio, damn cool room. We managed to drop the curtains the way we want it and arranged the equiptment to a desired effect. Joel memorized his lines, camera rolling and we were done. We then had fun skidding around in the room, the floor was a bit sandy. BUT we are responsible adults and we cleaned up. Hah! ok ya.
Then, we shot my sequence. By this time Joel was complaning and whining about food, so he went to get us some bubble tea. It was relatively fast and we would like to thank the people in the room who shuttup during the shoot.
Then, the hardest shoot so far. Marge's sequence. It was hard to end the shoot and transition and stuff. But, it was a job well done and a very fruitful day indeed. Yup.
Later we went to the airport. Terminal 3 since none of us has been there. This turned out to be a big let down for it took us approximately half and hour just going around and finding food that could live up to how much it cost. Then, dessert at TCC which was another let down. DO NOT order the chocolate oozzing from the menu thingi. I could make better, it was puny and it cost like 10 bucks. Oh, Joel just reminded me that it was called "Dark Devotion". We then contemplated to steal the silverware and chairs to make up for the price. We also thought of gulping down gallons of water to make up for the price. Mmhmm. After that, we went to look for a more satisfying dessert; we found this from Starbucks, the Warm Chocolate Cake. OO it was wonderfull. Damn....it was twice the size of the Dark Devotion and cost like, half of wut it was. yup.
Friday "breath in, reach up.....u are a tree, HELL no, im a f*****g shrub"
ok, I have seemed to have gotten my days and dates mixed up. Anyway,
Friday we went to shoot Natalya's sequence. When she came, she did not even have the guts to apologize, she did not even talk about her rage or anything for that matter.
Anyway, we went to shoot at Bedok Reservoir. Natalya was going to present Drawing Essentials. I got a bit upset cuz she was doing it all wrong. Yes, Mr Ronald would have wanted to slap her too. I was holding the camera and as she was doing her live-sketch, I just had to stop...I wanted to say "WUT THE HELL is that" but I was nice, so I didnt say anything.
We finally got down to; me drawing lightly on the paper for her, then she carrying it on from there with speech and darker lines. This worked out quite well but I still cannot understand how someone talks with full stops at every word...for example
"hi.welcome.to.drawing.essentials.today......" ok......1 minute of speech could have been said in 30 seconds!!

Day 4-2
Ok, have procrastinated long enough.
So on Day 4, we redid our script. I was on work at the 2 column storyboard-thingi and joel was working on the script.
Marge, Joel and I went down to the canteen to get some food and discuss the problems we are facing as a group. Then, we called Natalya down. Okay people, it is quite evident and I will just say it out. We were not happy with her lack of intuition and initiative, so we were going to address to her these things. However, were not such bitches to just whack her on the head. Instead of that, Marge asked her if there was anything that she wanted to say (which was a very good way to start). So, this is what she said "you guys are just wasting my time" and walked off..............in normal circumstances we would have called her back. But, we were not prepared for such an outburst of a response that we sat there dumb-founded.
Okay miss, we were going to talk things out as a group and solve out any misunderstanding and unspoken bitterness and hatred.....how is that wasting time??
Anyway, cant do anything about that anymore, so Joel and I continued the work we have not finished and Marge went to class.
Joel and I were supposed to finish the paper work then go and shoot our storyboard. But because of the days earlier events we met the other group and started telling them our dilemma. Oh well, but we did in the end get our storyboard done and printed.

Day 3-2
Ok, so today, we came as a group and talked about our proggression.
I came up with new ideas, from here, we decided to change the whole concept of our video.
I said that we should split the video in three sections so that its clearer - Animation modules, Video modules and modules catering to both. We would also shoot in different locations.

Day 2-2
Tuesday, yesterday......uh
We had a very fulfilling Subway lunch. Once we finished our sandwhiches, we got down to work.
Wahidah read our script and she had a few comments.
One of the most important things we had to change was our "interviewer" because Gary's voice was too low.
So, after all that, which was quite helpfull, we produced a new timetable.
After that, Marge, Joel and I went over to Joel's house to watch a movie. Informed of good movies by the Oscar Awards the night before, we went over thinking we could watch "Juno". When we arrived, however, it turned out that Joel saw the title of the movie wrong-ly and that he actually doesnt have "Juno".....................................I got pissed. But, anyway, we then watched "Girl Interupted" and were inspired by their marvelous flowy cuts and enchanted by the beauty and esque of Wynona Ryder.
Then, we got Margie's dog. Which was a crossbreed of a beagle and Maltese....I dont see the Maltese side of that dog......looked more like a coolie kinda thing...ok, ya, im very bad at dog breed names. But I dont care. and Im Whisky's (dog name) farely oddparent! WOO!! its a really damn cute dog...who scared the shit of her bunny.

Day 1-2
Hey peeps, so, block 1 has ended and we had to submit the first 15 days blog to Wahidah. This was on Monday,
I was late, boo, sorry. So, I went to my blog and copy and pasted wutever I wrote on Microsoft word. I think I must have really digressed a lot cuz by 5:30 I still was not done.
As a group, we did not do much but Joel wrote our script.

Day 15 Interim Assesment
So, for our interim assesment, we showed our video. Marge, who edited the video wasnt very happy with the end product of our first draft. I think it was ok, just that we needed to reshoot our interview sequence and cut the intro shorter.
After we showed our video, Marge told the class the things we would be changing. Lionel talked about some things that he thought could have been better................Dood, we just said those things you addressed, pay attention and listen!!! But thanks for some of the feedback. some. some that were not addressed.
Ok, so, we went together as a group. We decided that we would reshoot the entire interview sequence and have a memorized script. This would enable us to take different angles but keep a constant audio. We were nice and courteous enough not to borrow more than one camera. So, Joel is to come up with our script making sure he timed us too.
Anyway, quite happy with the direction we are going with. love u guys

Day 14 "I donno wut to put here"
Ok, so on Wed we edited the video so that we have something to show Wahidah and the class.
Natalya kept asking if we needed a powerpoint slide, this was not necessary for we did not have to put up any information.
The first presentation was about our group, the task that we have given each other and timeline.
What? we could write about what we did since that day??? wutever for?
What? write about what we have left to do? that would be decided only after the assesment
What? write about the problems we faced? leave your grandmother stories for the future.
So, there was nothing to be covered. Yet, she insisted and did one of her own.

Day 13 "yesterdayyy, all my troubles seem so far away"
I didnt know what title to put for yesterday. OO (typing title). How ironic, I am listening to my music and the Beatles came on and it was that song.
Before I left for school, Wahidah gave me a call saying that she wanted to meet us. Then, I went to school back to my little hole in the 2D lab. Marge and Joel were late as they were buying breakfast for us. Yay! Subway (that is a forbidden name unless we will be having that later btw).
When I was back in my little hole in the 2D lab, Gary went to join me.
He informed me that Marge got upset the day before. Remember, I noted that she said out loud that "we have no more tape"...well......later on, like half and hour or so later Natalya said "oh, we have no more tape, I have the orange on that Alfie gave us"..................like, OMG, then, as if that wasnt bad enough;
Gary said "huh? why didnt you take it out"
Natalya said "you didnt ask me"
Gary said "but you could have the initiative to take it out"
Natalya said "but you didnt have the initiative to ask me"
..........................................................................................................................................................................
........................................................................
OMG. Gurl, how do we know wether or not you have it??? how can we ask a question when there wasnt a question to be asked wut the hell la, you want to be part of the group or not?????
Anyway, when they have all arrived, Wahidah came over. She told Joel and Natalya what they missed the day before, then she posed all of us the same question. She also asked us what was the character of the camera (.......I really swear I have heard this) So, Joel explained to her what we were trying to achieve. She then gave us a few movies that might help us. She also mentioned that we did have a proper endind, I agree, it is quite abrupt and no conclusion at all. We will furher think about this.
Marge then started editing the intro sequence, we were all very happy with it. Thanks love.
I had interview session again yesterday night, a thousand apologies again friends. But as I was interviewing, the rest of my group mates shot Ideation/Public Speaking. Ahah! they went in to the room we were conducting interview and had to ask me for the tripod (cuz I had to take it home). When there was no one to interview I went to see their progress; Marge then told me that we were damn serious and it was like American Idol. Ahahha. Paula Abdul "you were.....I like your personality, I think.....if....you could have potential...but.." anal bitch. But Simon is sexy!!

Day 12 "and the Oscars goes to.....meeee"
So, on Monday, we went up to the studio to shoot 3d Art in the afternoon. At first, we wanted to make a Grammy, however, because of complications; we decided to do an Oscar. We took time setting up the camera cuz I forgot to take the tripod (so sorry). We discovered from here that Natalya has never borrowed anything from school and at first she did not know the procedures. wow.
Wahidah came to talk to us too. Natalya was borrowing the tripod and Joel went to the toilet or something...or they were in class....anyway, so after that we had to tell both of them what Wahidah told us. She said that we needed to establish the role of the camera (...I swear, I thought we talked about this before) and that the jump cuts might confuse the audience. Ok.
Marge and I talked about her comments and decided that we will continue editing our video together and see how it goes from there.
Originally we wanted to film the whole sequence of us making the Oscar; each person doing a body part and me combining it. Halfway through filming, we noticed the blinking red button. Means, our tape in the camera is running out.
Marge then said : "Oh no we're running out of tape, wut do we do??".
We decided to just cut as I refine the body parts; then start filming again when I add anything in.
At 6, Natalya and Joel came back from class. I had to go off to conduct interview sessions for DOC. (so sorry I had to leave)

Saturday
So, on Saturday, we went to shoot our interview sequence. I didnt have enough sleep the night before and I had to get up to go to church for a meeting :'( so sad, Saturdays was for sleeping in. Anyway, before I arrived in school, Marge and Joel have succesfully shot his sequence of getting into the cab. This, I learned, took awhile as they couldnt get a cab though they kept changing places.
Reminder: Do NOT borrow DVDs from the Library (Look at Marge's blog for further details). We went up to the study room, later, as we were setting up, we realized that the lighting was really horrible and the room was too small; so back we went to the 3-10 rooms.
Yes, I insited on putting on make-up on everybody as the oil on our faces (clearly visible or not) will be shown through in the camera and we will all look so unglam. Also, make up will evenly dispers the light on our faces, so there wont be a highly shinny part on one side of the face.
After setting up the lighting and all, we began. It was really fun, yes, bloopers included. We finished at about 6pm and then we went to dinner.

Day 11 with the wind in my hair
Hey, ok, I have not blogged in a looooooooooonnnnnnngggg time, yes, honestly, I completely forgot. So, on Day 11, we shot for animation module and ComDI.
We went to one of the 3-10 rooms, I cant remember which one. It was a good thing we went into that room because it was quite resourcefull. There were cardboard in that room, we used this to create the wind effect.
So, while I was tuning my guitar, Marge, Joel and Natalya went out to shoot her part for animation. When they came back, Marge told us that she found the lighting adjustments in the camera. Woo!! She also found how we can do in camera transition-editing thingi to fade in to the shoot.
Then, when the guitar was finally tuned we went to create magic!! With Gary's help, we got the projector out of its docking place and onto the computer desk. This served as lighting. I climbed onto the projector table that was now covered with mahjong paper; Joel handed me the guitar and Gary started fanning with the cardboard; and we dimmed the lights. ***Magic ***
Woo!! Next was ComDI. Joel had quite an excercise from this. We placed mahjong paper on the floor and Marge started brainstorming. We decided to do on music. Joel had to hold the camera with outstretched steady arms over her head the entire time. Ahah! we later realized that we could have cut halfway before continuing. Buttt, he wanted to burn calories, so we helped him. haha. Later, all the excercise went to waste as we ate hokkien mee and oyster omelet. ahaha.

Day 10 ReScript. Happy Valentines
Today, yesterday actually. When we walked into class, our group was the only group there so Wahidah kindly went through our script with us. This session was very productive as she raised a few question that we have never thought of. From answering the few questions, our group actually had a better clearer picture of the video.
Some of these questions that Wahidah raised was "what is the role of the camera during the interview". First responds was........but we have decided that the camera is going to be a Secondary School student who wants to know more about MOI. She told us that we should probably get him to introduce himself.
With the modules that we've done, there were some things that we left out. When we went to Boat Quay for photography, all of us took our pictures using manual mode in our camera. This gave us very good results, we then cannot show the potential students what we have learned, between a good shot and a bad one.
We thought of going back to Boat Quay to re-shoot but Natalya gave us a very good suggestion instead. She said we could just take photos of nature, plants and stuff.
We also showed Wahidah the video clip done by TP Business School- Mass Communications students that inspired us to do our clip for Video Fundamentals. She got creeped out, I think.
When she went to attend to the other groups, I then raised my concerns about our existing video that we have done for Drawing Essentials. I thought that we got a bit too informal. If I were the 'potential student' and I watched that clip, I would think of our group as being not very professional. I also pointed out that if the video were to be shown at the Open House, it would be very crowded and speech sequences would not be heard as conversation but rather, noise. I also said a few stuff about our Mr/Mrs.Smith sequence, I started not to like it. In the storyboard, the interview sequence will show 4 of us, I thought that if we did that, the audience will get confused with who is talking. I suggested that we should zoom in to the faces.
We then changed the whole sequence for Drawing Essentials. We got a main person who will show his/her sketch with a lecturer correcting his/her work. This would enable the audience to get a clear view of what goes on in class and what the key points thought are.
Joel took the liberty of re-writing the script that night. I asked Marge over for dinner as my aunt will be cooking. Later, the two dependent boys wanted to follow us, yes - Joel and Gary (remember our Unidentified F*****g Object) so they bought their own dinner and away we went. Since it was Valentines Day, we bought lilies for my aunt, since it would have looked better than three roses. There were a few dishes which included salad, tortilla, fish and chicken which we eagerly devoured down. OO and ice cream - that came from the supermarket - I learned. We also learned that Joel has not tried many many Singapore local delights which SHOCKED us - this included Hokkien Mee and Prawn Mee and Oyster Omelet and Mandarin Oranges!!!!! Can go angpao walking sommore! Later, we watched a spastic DVD and changed to American Idol!! Where Joshia got kicked out...BOOOO...
So, Joel procrastinated and woke up early at 9 today. THANK YOU!! He then pointed out just now that he did not get to see my room since there was a no enter sign at the door. hah. It was a good Valentines with no boyfriend

Day 9 I have a very bad headache
Yay! Finally, a post that is on time!!
Yes, I have a very bad headache that has stretched since Monday. Today, Wahidah asked and explained to us what goes on during production before the camera starts rolling.
She showed us how to go about writing a......oh dear, I dont know what its called........a table thingi that we fill up to remind ourselves how each take goes. yup. Marge and I then completed one of the few clips that we have taken yesterday. Thank goodness we imported the clips we shot out of school into Marge's Mac during class time; as I stupidly recorded the ones we shot in school over the earlier shoots. Lesson learned.
Wahidah then came over to our table and told us that the format for which the script was written was not right. She showed us another two collum format that we should follow to write the script. Yes, the script that was tasked on Monday is still not done and everything that was done was redundant and time wasting and Marge is now sitting beside me not saying very much and completing the script in the format Wahidah wanted.
We are waiting for Joel and Natalya's class to end as we are going to Boat Quay to shoot some pictures.

Day 8 I got pissed
Yes, as the title suggest, I got pissed. I got pissed at a group mate. But all is forgiven as is okay now. And as everyone can see, I have yet again procrastinated.
So, yesterday, we started shooting the intro. Already, the day began quite badly, we were supposed to meet at 9, I could not wake up and when I did it was already 830. I sms-ed Marge and apologized, meeting time pushed back to 945. Basically, our intro was to show the different ways we get to school with me already in school waiting. Me in school waiting was not to be shot yesterday as it would be in a different location.
When everyone finally assembled, we started with Marge walking to school. This took about 20 minutes plus. We took about three different shots of this, trying different angles and all.
Then, we had to walk to Safra and take bus to school and shoot Natalya in it. We took about 4 different takes.
Once we reached the school busstop, we alighted. We then took more shots of Natalya "getting off" the bus. This was a bit of a challenge as she really is not getting off the bus, just posing in front of the exit doors and walking away from it, we had to wait for a double decker bus to arrive. We waited twice as the first shot was not so good (sorry, this was my fault as I stopped recording to early).
At this point of time I was already sort of pissed cuz a certain group member kept complaining that it was hot and the bag that group member was carrying was heavy when it wasnt...
Time came for us to go to class. We showed Wahidah what we have shot. After that, we tried to import the clips into Marge's mac. This took some time cuz Marge never read the manual and we were not very Mac sevy, even the "The Raj" couldnt help us (how dissapointing). After 15 minutes (which seemed more like 30 minutes) Marge found a way to import the clips into her Mac....YAY......till a certain group member's itchy fingures had to move the Mac and stopped the importing.....................................I had to walk out of the room. When I came back, Marge was trying her best to start it up again, for some strange reason, this took some time as it could not perform the same task it did earlier.
Then, to make things worst, the same certain group member who was supposed to take up the task of scriptwritting, did not complete the task. Because of this, Wahidah could not critique and correct what we had planned.......yup.
We took some time out of class and continued shooting. This time, we shot for Drawing Essentials, I forgot to bring my sketchbook (a thousand apologies to Marge) so I had the task of holding the camera. Our location was in the E-Space. We could'nt promply start because of disturbances along the way. I would like to point out one girl who just did not have the brains to move faster out of the room; first, she and two of her other friends walked in (yes, they have every right to) that was the first distrubance, then they strolled very slowly, looking at the art pieces on display. She knew Marge and said hi and asked what she was doing. Marge then pointed at the camera in my hands and said "project". She nodded with an "oh", looked at me, looked at the camera and continued strolling in the room and into the next making as much noise as she did entering. Like WTF, like as if holding a camera was not in-your-face enough to tell you that we are in the middle of shooting, we are still first year students so we dont have the qualifications to set up lighting and all.
A little bit of inspiration from TP business school Mass-Communication, we decided to present Video Fundamentals module in a music video clip. We decided on "Wannabe" by Spice Girls, just for fun :D
Anyway, after that, Marge and I had to go to class. I felt very healthy that day because I managed to drown in a whole bottle of water. haha! When class ended, we went to Subway to have dinner. Yes, a very healthy day besides the times when I lost it.

Day 7 Sawadeeka
So, I came back from Malaysia yesterday. Right when I arrived back, I had to go straight to school. It was quite a good ride home; my aunt driving, auntie Jean in the passenger seat and me sprawled out at the back. The journey home was quiet...though my butt hurt at the end of the journey.
Came back from Thailand, "Sawadeeka" is welcome in Thai ") During the holidays, I managed to finish storyboarding our intro. Yay! Very proud of myself. During this period, I had to form of communication at all to the outside world. My phone was off most of the time and laptops were left at home.
The minute we arrived in Singapore, about 130pm, I turned on my phone. I was still in my holiday mood as the car ride was quite pleasing; I was not concerned about what was happening back in class for we had a timeline and everything seemed to be on time prior to that. I was just sms-ing Marge telling her that I have arrived when she called. Because of paranoia and panic attacks from new phone, I hung up. Then, I continued sms-ing her. I was waiting for a reply when Marge called back. With a very enthusiastic-I-miss-u-tone, I said "HELLO!". To my surprise, her first sentence was "Kez, we're in deep shit"...............okay.......I tried keeping myself calm because my aunt was driving and she would panic too if she knew that my work was in deep shit. Haha. I replied Marge "Okay, I'm going to have my lunch first, then go to school, see you"
When I arrived in school, I came into class with a grand arrival with a "no-fear-kezia-is-here" attitude. Marge (my now proclaimed non-existent-existent twin sister) and I saw each other and there was a chorus of claps as I have arrived. I asked about the shit; our group had no storyboard (or so they thought) and no two-column script which was supposed to be done before shooting (and shooting was supposed to start the next day). With a big smile on my face, I whipped out the storyboard I had done over the holidays; this was greeted with whoops of joy and happiness. Yay! Ode to me! (so vain). So, one part saved by moi. Next, we finished all our paper work. Which included the timeline, two-column script and storyboard for the body. Yay to us!!
So, it was quite a fruitfull day. If only it ended there, I had to go to DOC meeting :'( By the end of the day, I had a very bad headache. Hope tomoros shooting will be good

Day 6 "Serbuuuu all the way"
Yes, if those anal people noticed, Friday+Day 5 post and todays publishes on the same day. OKAY!!! I am right now sitting in my cousins computer in KL on Chinese New Years Eve with a bloated stomach and semi-drunk head.
I still don't get why people keep blogs, I mean, they must be damn desperate to want people to read what depressing or happy things are going on in their lives. There's something called a diary you know, where you can write down all your thoughts...unless, as i said, your desperate and want people to see your the thoughts you so personally write. See, I will attempt at one.
Hello fellow Cheena people, I miss all of you already. Today, I had to sit through a long 6 hours just to get to KL. I tell you, it does not do well for my already flat butt. Later, when we have arrived and were on our way for reunion dinner, I had to sit in a car full of 5 people. This includes my Por Por and Kung Kung whose idea of a conversation includes shouting at the top of their lungs so they are able to hear themselves. I understand that their old and hearing lost comes in, but....AND they are constantly speaking to my aunt in chinese, a language I am not such a big fan of. They keep arguing too at who is right and who should apologize and listen.
After dinner, I had to entertain my 12 and 8 year old cousin who I dont wish to entertain as for right now; which was a mistake because they ended up feeding High School Musical 2 into the DVD player. (For once, I was quite happy to climb up and finish my blog)
My thoughts are then again muddled with my ever vain en devours of who I think is cute and potential crush mate. Yes, this one particular person I have announced "Passe" and he (yes, its a he) is now replaced with someone else. Yes, another particular person is also announced "Passe" (yes, I have girl crushes too) and replaced. I love my life.
Ok, this is contagious, Listen out world, at my sad life, please read it on my blog and call 9******* if you ever need someone to listen to your sob life.
Whatever
So, Day 6. Everyone had to present what they have so far. Alan took over our class as Wahidah was on MC (get well soon). I must say that everybody's powerpoint presentation was a lot more colorfull than ours, YAY!! ours is different and Classic-Chic.
I am quite amazed at some of the stuff the other groups have done. Namely "Snap".
I think they did a very good job in coming up with such a snappey logou (think austin powers style babey)
Raj's group had a very ambitious vision, that they forgot to think about content (keep going ppl) but I must credit their wonderfully done trailer. Its freeeeaaaakkkiiiinnnn awesome!!! I really hope you guys wear costumes too. AHahahhahha
Seeing everyone's presentation, I have come to one conclusion; most of our thinking are still very cli.....how do u spell tt.....cliche......wutever; because two other groups had somewhat the same idea as ours. OO I forgot. We are now called "Press To Exit", yes, inspired by the button on the wall.
Alan told us that we needed a logistics list of the equipment we need. We should also keep a timeline so we could keep a religious discipline of showing up with work.
When class was finally dismissed, we got down to work. The first thing we did was draw out a rough timeline. Then we went down to eat. (yes Joel, we should have gone down later or earlier, damn, my love-hate relationship of bumping into people)
After we have had our fill we went up to my favorite corner in the 2D lab. I decided to draw out a nice proper timetable in e computer to give out to each of us while Marge and Joel figured which classroom we should recce.
Once we had enough procrastination for the day, off we went. Some of the rooms included the Student Alumni Lounge. We asked around, it would have been a perfect spot but it is the "Alumni" Lounge and we couldnt use it. Damn those students that did not take proper care of the Alumni Lounge.
Next was Studio 4 where Drama (CCA) is usually held. And we found our place!!! This room was to be for our Mr/Mrs.Smith shot.
Then, we went back to the lab and I continued on my blog; then we went home.
See you all people, and to my cheena bladerss and sistaasss, Hairpee Chyneese Neu Yea!!!
I will be gone to Pukhet for my holiday!!! yes, some might say "unfair" but let me console you and say that I have the liberty of storyboarding our video. Actually, I like storyboarding, and I wanted to keep myself busy, so tts unfair...o well. C U ALL

Friday+Day 5 Procrasinated
Morning, I have yet again procrastinated last night and not blogged of Day 5s progression. Now it is Day 6 and I will try to finish on time.
Our group decided to be hardworking and meet on Friday, there is no 12-3 class on Friday. But, we met up anyway. Meeting time was supposed to be at 9am. So, me being me, i got up at 730!!! and went to dress up. Around 8 plus when i was just about to leave the house, Marge sent me an sms. I then called her up (and sadly) as expected, meeting time was pushed back to 10am. No, I did not get angry :)
I lingered around the house a little then decided to go to school anyway. I reached at about 915am and decided to go to my favorite spot; the second computer off the wall in the 2D lab. Yes, most of my stuff are in there, please do not jeapordise my work.
Friday was also DOTC1. Design Orientation Training Camp 1. As I am the ACC (no, its not account, stands for Assistant Camp Commandent) people started calling me and sms-ing me to ask me questions and such. I do not have a phone line as I am paying for my own phone bills, to me, pre-paid is by far the easiest way to keep track of my bills. On that day, I had 0.33 cents in my phone, hence, i could not receive calls and I did not want to send out any sms (cuz I was scared that if time calls for an emergency, I could still send out at least 6 sms-es!).
By then I figured that I really needed to get some money in my phone. I went to Cheers. Along the way, I bumped into Natalya, I told her to wait for me in the 2D lab. Along the way, I met my fellow MOI-ers and asked them if they needed a drink, Wendy wanted milk and Dion wanted barley.
I got what I needed (except Dion's barley for they ran out, so I got him lemon tea instead, I hope this was ok) and went back to the lab. When I arrived in front of the 2D lab, Natalya was there. I asked her "why did'nt you go in??" and she said "oh, I just came out, I was wondering why you took so long".................................okay.............................I was on msn in the room talking to Gary, when I came back on the first thing he said was "wah! back already! so fast!" so naturally, I got pissed, not pissed, just annoyed.
Then, to aggravate me even more, Marge called. Earlier, she had thoughtfully asked me if I wanted anything from McDonalds as she would walk pass there; turns out she did not go to McDonalds but went to the bubble tea shop instead. She told me that she was going to get fries for me, she added that I should move to the 3-10 rooms, and a whole lot of commotion arises from this plus Joel being a diva......it was not very good, and I shouted at Marge (so sorry my love).....pms-ing really badly that day, Gary also got a little shouting from me (he didnt deserve it this time, so sorry)
Then, later on that day I got my period, so pms-ing over!!!!
Me and Marge had to go to the Asian Civilization Museum cuz our Design History and Culture had to go for an outing. Learnt a lot about Buddhist culture and Javanese and Singapore Culture too.
I went back to school after that because I had camp to attend to. Yes, I was appointed Assistant Camp Commandant for Design Orientation Camp. YAY!!!! My heartfelt apologies to those that did not make it to the first DOTC. Yup, that was Friday.
Day 5, we came out with what we had to do. We went indepth on what we have to do.
We also made our powerpoint for presentation.
I had to get an LOA for missing class on the 11th. So, I had my aunt and my group mates to excuse me. I might just come late on that day if we make it back in time. Driving up and down from KL since the rest of my maternal side of the family are there.

Day 4 "Do you believe in God? Written on the bullet"
Today, yesterday rather, we went to class. We proceeded into a different classroom as our Wahidah noticed that a certain facility in the other room blocked some of our views of the screen.
Today Mr.Ronald's class joined us, however, since he had something important to attend to, Mr.Alan was there instead.
When everyone had settled down, Wahidah showed us some more DVDs. One was a documentary about a family, the other was "Bowling for Collumbine".
I saw "Bowling for Collumbine" before but never finished watching it; but i do have a certain amount of compassion for those who were murdered. I have read a bibliography about one of the victims in the tragedy, her name is Rachel; today's blog title is part of a song written and produced by flyleaf titled "cassie"; the song was wtitten in tribute to another girl - cassie.
Wahidah told us to get into our respective groups and assign roles to each member. At the beginning of this project, our group agreed on not assigning roles. But since Wahidah insisted, we had to do it. Ha. We did eventually agree since someone had to be accountable to something.
Group Leader : Marge
Scribe: Marge and Joel, Nat and I are also taking down some notes.
Equipment: Joel
Software Application: Natalya and Kezia
We decided to give our group a name! "Press To Exit". The idea behind the name was as such. We were looking around the room for some scope of idea of a name. Marge who happened to gaze at 12 o clock saw the exit button. That was what we finally decided on. Our vision was, we want to destress people, by looking at our videos, we bring them out of that zone into perpetual entertainment out of the imposing world of reality.
We decided to go with a Mr and Mrs.Smith concept. Instead of a psychiatrist, we have decided to personify our camera as an interviewer; it will take life in the form of a voice over. Our answers will describe a module.

I was bored. And idea-less. With itchy fingers, so I decided to dwell in Tim Burton's world of fantastic fantasies (like Johnny Depp) and draw caricatures of Marge and I.
Later I story-boarded our plan.
We will continue on our planning on Friday, meeting early in the morning as we have a class outing in the afternoon.

Day 3 Inspired
OK, so i decided to put a title on the "title" blank starting from today
Yes, so today, its "inspired" because we all went down to the LT. Our lecturers then showed us a few DVDs which they thought will help us.
The first one was behind the scenes thing from Lord of the Rings
They then asked us to compare the cinematography with some documentary on Mt.Everest
Obviously, the first one was better. From the interview camera angles to the lighting and background and movie clippings.
The second video was not as good as most of the shots were way too over exposed. Camera angles were also horrible as it distorted most of the peoples faces.
I thought the opening sequence was actually quite good. It started with a few text about what they were documenting, the sequence included a mountain whistling sort of noise that, I thought, captured the intensity of Mt.Everest
From the two DVDs then followed a chain of other tapes. Some memorable ones included (not in particular order) Monsters Inc, Iron Man and Shoot Em Up.
Seeing those DVDs really helped. We were all exposed to different kinds of introduction and credit line (if one is to make a movie like tape). I really liked the bloodtrail in the credit line from "Shoot Em Up".
Then, Wahidah showed us some DVD on some supirior guy during the war and stuff. But because of unbalanced ying n yang that affects my "chi" i coldnt control my bladder any longer and I went to the toilet. (Sorry Wahidah, that was the explanation from my "sing-se")
At 230pm when all the tapes were shown, we were released; and everyone scattered into the canteen racing to be the first to line up at the Western Food stall. (actually, it wasnt so drama, but OH well! I got my chicken chop 2nd you suckers! HAH!!)
Once our tummy was filled, me, Joel, Marge and Gary (UFO - unidentified f*****g object) went up to the 2D lab for further discussion. Natalya was unable to join us as she had class. Before she went, she told us she had a few ideas for intro and conclusion; and I told her to put them up on her blog and we shall read it from there.
In the computer lab, we carried out our meeting. Marge, Gary and I (see Sarah, I learn fast!! aha!!) felt sick in the stomach. Lyke, we needed to barf something out, might have been the food (we had the same thing); this was the reason why Marge and I could'nt concentrate at first. So, it started out a little slow but we managed to get somewhere.....in the end....after......a couple of minutes.. :) We figured that the wave current just went through me and Marge. Later, Joel sat directly in between us, and presto! it worked! Gary was (very silently) sitting by us.
During our brief discussion, we came up with a few thoughts. We had a lot of ideas here and there but realized that we had no main body. Whether it our tape was going to look like a documentary, or video, or ......reality tv...ya.
I came up with the reality tv idea, starting my thought with "survivor". I envisioned it like so:
Camera pans down through a myriad of our works and faces, basically showing our journey in a very super dooper quick manner.
I was hoping that my aundience would resopond like so:
(sees a work flashing through) "OO wat was tat?? (then, looks on longer for our explanation)
Joel then managed to carry it on from there, following my idea with the suggestion of .........
"do you wanna be on top (top) (top) (top)"....yes, the very hot and glamarous world of Americas Next Top Model (nanana..na..naaa..nanana..nana)
So, we settled on reality tv style. Still have yet to look at Natalya's ideas and we shall carry on with our discussion later in class :)

Day 2
Yesterday during class time, everyone got a preview on everyone else's blogs. It was interesting to see what people wrote in and what others left out.
Looking at theirs, I thought that whatever I wrote for Day 1 was too short.
So, first, I shall type out whatever i did not include yesterday. We came together and listed out what each person still has and whose works we are going to include.
The list came out as such:
2D Art fundamentals - Everyone has their works
Creative Storytelling - Only Joel
Drawing Essentials - All
Communicating Design Ideas - All
Ideation - Joel and Natalya
Video Fundamentals - No one has their works, but since our clip is mostly on video recording, we are using that to present this module
Digital Media Fundamentals - Marge and me
Animation Fundamentals - All
3D Art Fundamentals - All
Photography - Joel, Natalya and me
CDS and Electives
Visual Presentation Essentials - Joel, Natalya and me
Public Speaking - Natalya
Italian - Marge
So that was what we came up with on the first day
Day 2, we looked at the above list again and decided to spilt the jobs and confirm who is going to present what.
Before that however, I will mention what Wahidah (our lecturer) asked the whole class
She asked each group to come up with 2 main points that we want to portray through our clip.
Joel,Marge,Nat and I came up with 2 of our own points. When we got together to see what the other wrote, it came out to be relatively the same
1. We want to be able to tell the potential students what MOI is all about, the classes and projects we had to go through
2. That we had fun in sitting through projects and classes
Wahidah then told us to have one person from each group speak up and share of the 2 things. Since everyone else is shy and illiterate (HAH) they appointed me to do it. We were the last group to share our thoughts so we had a chance to hear what everybody else had in mind first. Mostly, the group's aim was to promote MOI and have new people convinced and inspired to join our course.
Our group's motive was different. We wanted to inform our audience what MOI is all about.
We came up with this motive because as we shared, we realized what everyone shared in common at the beginning of the year.
Most of us did not know what we were in for or what classes we had to sit through, so we decided to be really nice seniors and tell our potential freshmans what MOI is all about so they have a better idea of the course. We dont want people ending up not enjoying MOI when they have chosen it, so instead of major contemplation and lost of sleep, we will tell them what is in store.
Next part, we planned on how we wanted to showcase each module. We have not decided on all but I will just tell you those that we have planned on.
2D Art
we are going to have some video recording device in our hands and walk through the existing exhibition of everyones 1m x 1m
Drawing Essentials
Camera is above one of us (who is holding a sketch book on their lap), frontal side view so audience can see the sketch book.
The person (one of us) will start drawing and have our dear Mr.Ronald critique his/her work and ask him/her to start again until he/she gets it right.
ComDI
We decided to do a mindmap on us brainstorming on our collage a.k.a "School of Rock" style.
To take a video of the mindmapping proccess and the researching that is required.
Ideation
We decided to combine this module with Public Speaking. First, there would be a narrator saying "this was before public speaking" and the person showcasing their Ideation work will stutter and spaz out in whichever way.
then the narator will then say "after public speaking" then that same person will fluently deliver their presentation.
Animation
During this module, for one of the excercises, I animated this girl playing a guitar. We decided to use that. First show the animation then fade out to me playing my guitar. Or the other way round.
3D Art
We will take a video of everyone of us making a sculpture. Class is about to start so i will update this in detail when i have the time :D
Goodbye and see you readers in class

Day 1
Mr.Alan Rudge briefed all three classes on what is expected of Project 1 We were then dismissed to our respective classes for further discussion The class was then divided into groups of 4 or 5
My group consist of Majorie, Joel, Natalya and me Today we discussed on our video layout, what we wanted to show and whose works we are going to include
We also discussed how we are going to do transitions and timeslots; whether we are going to show the clips module by module or person by person by person.
Module by module - meaning each module will be represented with one or two members showcasing their work
Person by person - meaning each member has 2 minutes to talk about their works turn by turn
We have not come to a conclusion on which sequence we want to use.
